I don't think Darkness counts for everything. At the end of the game I played it didn't have any leaderboard info for it. Weird, it's a great level and it looks nuts too.

I really like the changes for DX, it can sit a long side CE instead of replacing it since the strategy and score levels are so much different. The original map/mode is even in there, but the bomb mechanic is still active.

Biolab is so frustrating, I can't ever get 3 skill shots in time. All the other missions are pretty easy, especially Brain.

Nightmare Mansion's game mode is frustrating too. I've gotten 3 of the 4 ramps, and then time has run out. The tricky one is the top flipper ramp, and then I was so annoyed I didn't hit the monster tree because that ramp is like 95% of what you should be aiming at on that table.

Biolab: I can't get one fucking skill shot, much less 3.
Rome is the most frustrating table to get a real good score on with Speed being a close 2nd.
And fuck that skate-boarding table design. I can't even bring myself to play the thing.

Skill shots in Biolab are easy as shit. Figure out the right point to bump the table and you can get them pretty much 100% of the time.

Pasha's skill shot I can't do for beans, though.

Anyone give Crazy Taxi a whirl yet?

I'm waiting to see if it's in that DC collection.

Yeah, losing the licenses and songs and voices totally sucks (what the fuck kind of half-assed contracts did the people making the original game draft up?) but I was prepared for that. I hoped maybe they would have at least made semi-inspired knockoffs to ease the transition, but oh man, they didn't put in a lick of effort. The Levi's Shop is now CLOTHING STORE, Tower Records is now RECORD STORE. I mean come onnnn.

I feel like I had to adjust my Crazy Dash inputs by a hair versus what I was doing on the DC, but once I cleared that hump, it seems to play just as well. The nonrendered stuff like menus and and HUD stuff and whatnot seems stretched, but the actual game portion seems to be in true widescreen.

That sounds terrible.

The license stuff is, yeah. The actual game plays well, though, and as someone who fuckin' loves the actual game, having it on my hard drive ready to play whenever is worth the pain.

Also you can earn a CT logo shirt and Axel's Hawaiian shirt (or Gina's leopard-print top, for the fillies) for your avatar, which is pretty neat.
