Ace Combat 6

The trailer looks really good. The scenes with people kinda creep me out, though. They don't look good.

I had to dig for this thread. So yeah, this game comes out tomorrow and I'm all over this shit. Where's the excitement? It's Ace Combat FINALLY online! I've played the 360 demo about a billion times, and recently played thru 4, 5, and zero. Some reviews are out, ranging from 8.5's to 6's. Ace Combat Zero scored 5.0's from EGM if I remember correctly. I avoided the game due to that fact until I saw it for cheap - and Zero ended up being my favorite in the series so far.

Anyone else getting this? I'll be online with it tommorrow.

I hate the 4th Quarter. This will have to wait until after the holidays before I can pick it up.

The demo killed the hype for me. I guess I might pick it up when it hits the bargain bin.

I went back 8 pages and didn't see a thread for this game, so I thought I'd post it since I'm rather enjoying the whole thing.

The game is really quite beautiful and plays incredibly well, I'm surprised by the move from PS to XBOX but I don't mind, so far the game has been masterfully executed. It's especially fun and effective when you play with this Click for full size


I bought the bundle and I freaking love it, the gameplay is great and the flightstick is very responsive and feels weighty and solid, definetly worth the price tag I would say. I haven't tried it yet, but the multiplayer aspect is fairly exciting.
I'm having a lot of fun with this game, and it seems like it would work well on a controller as well. I highly suggest this to everyone.
