MetsBlog is a very well respected source in general, but in this case, if you read, he was directly citing SI's Jon Heyman. Either way, they both wayyyyyyyy rate higher than the forum declarations of some dude that thinks Melky Cabrera is good at baseball.
If the Mets agree to pack up both Gomez and Martinez, we absolutely will acquire Santana, because our offer will destroy anything the Yanks or Sox will put up. Frankly, if this is the case, they will be robbing us blind.
