**On a related note, there is a rumor circulating on the Don Murphy message boards that Natassia Malthe has been cast aleady in Transformers 2, but we haven't not gotten any confirmation on that tidbit, so that's pure speculation at this point.
We have reached out to Paramount Pictures as well as to different members of the production company to confirm the above story, but they have not yet responded to our requests.

Also, the previous editor (Paul Rubell) is out. Roger Barton is in, he did The Island, BB2, and Gone in 60 seconds.
Hopefully that means less red blur vs blue blur, but I suspect that has more to do with the director than the editor.
Sadly, the editor can't do much if the cinematographer decides to film everything in super close-up again.

While I understand that they want to keep the real detailed look of the robots that the first TF movie established, Arcee looks way too skeletal in her robot form.
Bumblebee doesn't look all that different minus the hood and the bumper but it wasn't a broken design anyway so it's good that they didn't change a whole lot.
