I just got two part-time job offers in the past few days. While that's good because I haven't had a steady job in half a year, I'm conflicted about taking them. Right now I'm waiting on two other job offers, one as a paralegal (Don't care too much about it but it's up to $65k a yer and I have alot of bills to pay) and the other is as a law journalist (I really want this one because I love politics/law and I don't want to be a politician/lawyer, but the pay is half of the paralegal).
I've been under intense pressure by my mother to get a job to pay bills at home again, but I'm inclined to just pick up my shit one day and move without telling her so she has little time to bitch and moan. I know I'm under my parents' roof but I've been taking my mother's shit-talking and my dad's hand in my wallet for far too long. Even when I became unemployed, my dad racked up over $1k on my credit card and isn't really paying me back.
The two part-time jobs don't really fall in well into what I want to do as a career but freelancing for random newspapers isn't exactly lucrative either when they're paying me pennies.
I have no idea what the fuck to do.

Mine hit 155k going back to campus from home. Still runs rather well. I dearly hope it continues to run rather well, but seeing it go 155,000 made me cringe a little.
Do you drive a Ford Tempo or something? My Landcruiser is at 190K and rolling tough. My Honda's odometer stopped working almost five years ago at 130K. I had an 81 Corolla wagon with 270K on it and it was rollin and controllin until I gave it away to an ex.Quote:
