Before the craziness of Thanksgiving and Christmas, I'd figure we should meet one more time (and belatedly celebrate my 28th birthday) before the year ends. A couple of folks have suggested that 11/17 (Saturday) is a good day to meet, so let's make it official.
Location TBA, although I'm sure Mezz will have some awesome suggestions.

That said, yeah, all the get-togethers to date have all resulted in drunkenness. It's probably the best ice-breaker when meeting partial strangers from the internet. ;)

I'm on a tight budget too...I can't do a fifty to sixty dollar drinking night, as gay as that sounds.

I'm gonna try to make it. I cant guarantee anything though at this point. I'd also like to keep it cheap, and hopefully not get as shit faced as I've been the last couple of get togethers.
Yeah, I drink way too much at these things as well.
I will try and make it but Sunday morning is the deadline for my assignments so it all depends on how finished my shot is come Saturday evening.
I had little intention of going that far, but if you guys really get blasted every time one of these go down, I might consider it. Fucking rock and roll.

Is Saturday, December 22nd, good for everyone? I can make reservations for up to 8 people and they are for 7:30 p.m., 9:15 p.m., 11:00 p.m. and 12:45 a.m. for the shows. ($15 cover and 2 item minimum). If there are more people, we can just make another group reservation under someone else's name. Please let me know if you can make it and which showtime you would prefer by next Friday, the 14th so I can do a headcount.

It's a show at the Cellar, what do you expect? A famous comedy club to be free and handing out chips and soda =P? It's only $15 and the two-item minimum will be for the group. I'm definitely getting an appetizer and I'm sure that SOMEONE is going get a beer, hence two-item minimum requirement fully satisfied.
Again, I don't do that. I'm too rock and roll for it.

Well, the thing is that I'll be flying into JFK at 5:13 p.m. (7 to 8-hour flight from Long Beach) Then, I was going to get picked up by my father and sisters to chill with them in Queens for the rest of the day and afterwards, get dropped off in CT that night. I'll see if I can convince my sisters to come with me to the 7:30 p.m. show? That would be the only arrangement I can come up with for me meeting y'all on the 21st without being terribly tired.
