Agreed. The word for me has little to no meaning outside of me saying wassup to a friend. I use the word around my non black friends. Like "Nigga what are you doin?"

Stepping to me with a hostile attitude is what will get you stomped the fuck out. Not just saying the word.

I don't personally care what the context is. If it's okay for one man to use the word nigger it's okay for everyone to.

I was in a mall this one time. There were three black guys walking with their wigger friend. The wigger goes "I's don't know about you niggers, but I'm getting somethin' ta eat!!" And the black guys were like, "Yeah, nigger, let's eat."

I think the thing that bothers me the most about this is that Dog's private phone conversation was recorded and sold to the highest bidder. I mean, it's one thing to have a racist outburst in public, ala Mel Gibson. But people say all sorts of shit behind closed doors they'd never say in public...including you guys. No one's perfect.

This invasion of privacy, no matter what it uncovered (unless, maybe, murder or something), is just fucked up.

Exactly. If people are going to have thin ass skin about words, then context is a weak thing to hide behind.
