I picked the shitbag, currently-being-renovated Hyatt West Hollywood, because it is just a stone's roll away from the Standard. I figure the real rock-and-rollers among us can stay there (see the linked article) and the pampered posers can go to sleep at a respectable hour up the block. Best of both worlds.
I don't know how far along the hotel's reconstruction will be by March, but as long as there aren't bugs crawling around the room or lurking in the corners, it'll be fine by me. Travelocity seems to have the lowest prices on a flight/hotel combo.

I have a few possibilities for the Chicago meet, and most of those are focused on the downtown area and nearby neighborhoods.
Can we go to that bar that's on the 65th floor of the Sears Building (I think that's what it's called) I love that place oh yeah, and wrigleyville.
The good news is for Chicago, it's $23 for round trip Bus Fair, sooo cheap and I can just play DS all day there!
