hmmm....fucked up situation but it is what it is. you should try and remind your wife that as much as she may disapprove, she has a new baby sister to look out for.

That happens in my family sometimes. It's awkward, but nobody really cares too much. Everyone has kids young and then ends up remarrying later, so it's not incredibly rare.

I can entirely understand that. I feel sort of dirty for not thinking that these situations are weird, sometimes.

She is okay with it now, but she was quite disturbed a few months ago. We have our own little girl to worry about.

The sad thing is that this woman doesn't even want to take care of her own daughter. We were back in Boston in April and we got into a discussion about taking care of the baby. Apparently, they hired a stay at home nanny to take care of the baby. Her excuse is that she wants to find a job. WTF, she graduated from Bunker Hill (community) college with an ASSociate degree. She will be making less than the money it cost to hire the nanny, so that's just some BS excuse so she can go out during the day.

I told her to take care of her own baby, and she said (in front of everyone at the dinner table) "This is not your business". My wife stood up and said that is her dad, so it is her business.
