TNL Blog

Buttplant wanted to do a blog about tits or some shit and that led a few of us to discuss what might actually be an amazing idea: a TNL Blog.

Now imagine something like Penny Arcade, where you have a few journals attached to a comic and every few days a new comic is posted and new journals accompany that one. Now the first journal would be about the comic (which we'd try to get Nemo, Rezo, Hero and Fox to take turns drawing, say one a week for each of them) and then there'd be a few more blog posts tagged on and those can be about anything.

It could cover Video Games, Movies, TV, Anime, Books... basically everything we post about here on the board.

Who would write it? Anyone on TNL with access to the Vet Board. We could set up a rotation for the main post which the comic ties into and then people can submit new blog posts whenever they have something legit and interesting to post about. Nick could proof read and approve them before adding them in at his discretion.

It could be incredible if it worked out. I mean, really incredible.

As I mentioned before I think this would actually be a good idea.

The only thing I would change is possibly have a couple people in charge of proofreading and deciding what to post, not just Nick. That would take up a lot of his time, I think there are a few other level headed and skilled people on TNL that could help him do that. I'm thinking people like Melf and Neo and such.

It would work well as TNL's new "front page." User created content could have the site basically running itself.

I would write for this assuming I can conquer my own crippling laziness. My own blog is pathetically neglected.

opaque should be in business. He's done this shit by the book

1)discredit the maker of original idea
2)remove the one thing from the original idea that makes is not accessible to tons of people
3)tack on something from another successful idea
4)kiss the ass of those higher up than you

Yes, I like the idea of a TNL blog. But your a total asshat for how you've delt with something that was essentially my idea.

well if opaque really was thinking about it from that perspective, he'd told rhydant to make this thread as we all ultimately like rhydant more than opaque.
