The only thing DC is good for are the few shmups, VOOT (with Twin Stick) and Samba.

Those are just my favorite games and I wouldn't expect anyone but me to agree with the list. I'm not at all presenting it as the "Top 25 Games of All Time," but I make no apologies for what are my favorite games.

Meteos is pretty phenomenal in multiplayer with character depth not too different from Street Fighter. Different planets have totally different play strategies and matching them up against different planets to play the strengths and weaknesses is very, very unique to the puzzle genre.

All of them lasted a lot longer than DC. That's why I qualified it by saying "month for month. Sept 99-Feb 02 were full of more good games than I could keep up with.

Fair enough, I never played the game multiplayer. Still I think other puzzlers play just as well, if not better in multiplay. Like Tetris, Puyo Pop, Klax, Puzzle Fighters, etc.

I'd have to see what games came out for DC during that time and what games were kicking it's ass on the PS, and I don't really have time to go over the list.

I like Tetris and Puyo Pop, never played much Klax and not really a fan of Puzzle Fighters. But Meteos's multiplayer mechanics are so different and genre bending that it's hard to compare them to these games.

Well, if you played fighting games at all Playstation was the ass of systems and DC was the cream. Playstation was really good for jrpg's around then, getting Chrono Cross, Legend of Mana, Breath of Fire 4, and Final Fantasy IX, but for variety i don't remember there being that much.
