Superbad
Cera's the only good part of this movie, even though, just as I suspected, he more or less reprises his George Michael Bluth role (not that that's bad, but I kinda doubt he's capable of anything else).
I hated the fat kid and both cops.
I definitely laughed out loud a few times, and it could have been much, much worse, but overall? Pretty lame.
Finally finished watching King Kong. Not bad, but nothing really new other than excellent sfx. The story always made me sad in the end.
Tripple T-rex battle was over the top, and film looked fantastic in hd.
Pan's Labyrinth - I already posted in the official thread but this film is fantastic. You could get the feeling that this was Del Toro's lovechild.
Lightning Jack - this came on HBO again and I had time to kill. This is the most tolerable/enjoyable Cuba Gooding, Jr. movie I've ever seen.
Been watching Psyche Season 1, what a fantastic show.
I remember back in the day where USA was for black people and kids looking for some almost uncensored movies if you didn't have HBO.
Road to Perdition- Gods, I forgot how awesome the movie was.
We Own the Night
About 25 minutes in I fall asleep every fucking time. I can only manage to put together part of the story from parts where I woke up to turn:
Brothers on both sides of law
One brother gets shot in the face
Other brother becomes rat
Dad dies
Becomes a cop by magic
Kills guy
Stops being cop
Eva Mendes is still busted
Is that the jist?
The only part you missed is the Eva Mendes being naked parts.
