Sacrificial lamb to the Eidos gods, imo.

Damn, watching the video review, he really ripped that game a new ass. Not that I give a damn, but for some reason I remember the game looking better than that, but maybe I'm thinking of doctored screenshots.
And jesus, fucking Joust can't make a single post without the word Nintendo in it. Get over it.
It's a videogame review. Is he supposed to be in a suit, using his best manners? If it wasn't an angry dumpy looking guy with an irritating voice, i wouldn't believe he actually played videogames.
He said it was bad, but he gave his reasons why he didn't like it, he wasn't just screaming.
All of this controversy has me thinking that perhaps darker motives are behind the disappearance of Mr. Gerstmann.
It's possible that he was dispatched by a Shin Johnpv-led band of vigilante Nintendo fans -- a conspiracy that was conceived on November 17th, 2006 when Gerstmann sentenced Zelda : Twilight Princess to a fate of "below 9.0."
Don't believe me? Maybe when The Legend of Zelda : The Lute of Daylight Savings scores a perfect 10 at gamespot, you will.
I don't know why you would include me in that other than the fact that you're a complete douche bag. Specially since I never gave 2 fucks about what a game got in a review. So why don't you go take Joust's cock out of your ass and stop being a whiny little prick with a mountain of sand in the gapping hole you call a pussy.
The lady doth protest too much.
I read the review. The writing wasn't perfect and the tone wasn't completely kind, but certainly nothing that should get one fired.

I'm pissed that I missed the opportunity to get a smart ass comment in there, but I see the thread was in capable hands.
Also, if CNET wants to see what tone is, we should send them a CD of my posts.
So basically exactly what we are speculating except he's done it more often.Quote:
