Crap, My Electronics Are Awash in Soda
I'm at work, I’m going to lunch, I stick a bottle of Diet Pepsi in my big green canvas bag that I keep all my shit in, and start walking downstairs. On the first floor, I stop in the bathroom and suddenly I feel something dripping on my leg. I look and it's fucking soda, coming from my bag. I guess I didn't screw the cap on as tightly as I thought. I open the bag, and the bottle, which was over half full, is empty, and the contents of my bag are SUBMERGED IN DIET PEPSI. I guess it's a really well-made bag as very little of it was dripping out. Among the items awash in a sea of soda:
Sony digital camera w/2GB memory stick and rechargeable battery
512MB USB flash drive
Norelco electric razor (not a problem, it's designed to get wet)
Spiral sketch book
Lucky for me, my 30BG iPod was in a separate pocket that was above the soda, and thus was soda-free, but the fact remains that all the stuff I listed above was literally FLOATING in Pepsi. Any chance that, if I let them air-dry, that they all might be salvageable? I'm hoping that the soda being diet (no sugar) might play a factor.
Regardless, the sketch book is ruined. It's warped as shit.
