Real-life Domestic Violence
Man, it's been my month.
So I'm sitting outside with my neighbor talking Brown's football when we here what clearly sounds like a shotgun going off next door. Kinda strange but it's hunting season so we figure our neighbor is just out shooting deer in his back yard (we have large woods in our area) and disregard.
Well at 8:15pm out the door goes this guy, then following him is my neighbor's wife, both barely clothed (it's 10 degrees outside with windchill today) and screaming like all hell. Next comes my neighbor, a pretty mellow dude who does art for the Indians with a shotgun scream "cheating bitch, I won't miss again and proceeds to FIRE the gun up in the air, me and the other neighbor go running into my house and call 911. We'll, we look out the window and this guy is firing at his wife's car point blank with a 12 gauge and the slugs richochet and I guess hit him in the face, and he goes down.
"Should we go out there?" my neighbor asks
"Fuck that motherfucker, I ain't going nowhere" I reply
About 25 minutes later the same fucking SOLON cop who had a gun on me comes over to ask me if we'd seen anything. His first words "Oh shit man, sorry about that situation a few weeks ago, did you see anything"
We tell him the story and he proceeds to tell us that the guy has been arrested 9 times for domestic abuse, but usually just threatening to kill her so they just cool him out for 24 hours.
Crazy fucking last 3 weeks for me, I'm going to go on vacation to the North Pole. I'll post the article if it get's into the paper tomorrow.
