I hear that macho bullshit talk from so many guys about how they won't tolerate guys hitting women, but when it the situation arises, nobody ever does anything to intervene.
The only time I ever hit a woman was by accident. She caught an elbow to the face while I was punching the guy she was with, and I apologized to her afterward.
It's not as if your only options are either hitting back with full force and beating them to death or doing nothing at all.
I don't discriminate when it comes to violence, but I also would never use more force than was necessary to keep myself safe.
Most women are smallish compared to me, so I doubt I'd have to do anything beyond grabbing their wrists and telling them to calm the fuck down. Failing that, I would push them away. Striking anyone is really a last resort.
This reminds me of when Coury and I were in Coney Island and saw some skinny dude pretty much roughing up his girlfriend with two cops very close. We just laughed.Quote:

My girlfriend was mad at me, too, but what was I going to do? Jump in there? If she were willing to take that abuse and just look down sheepishly she would've told the cops that we just wanted to hit him and we'd get arrested.
