btw yellerdog Velvet Elvis became Jinx which I had a few beers at last week. It is still a venue but its small and there is not much variety in the genre.
Velvet Elvis used to be pretty rad. We'd get bands like Melt Banana in there occasionally. I totally forgot about the Jinx, I was starting to get hardcore about studying when that came about.
