Leaderboards in the first game were fucked.
It seems like there was no rhyme or reason as to whether or not your scores got uploaded.
I got stuck on Fall Out Boy for a while, too.
It's a lot easier to play now in Rock Band 2 since you can turn on hyperspeed and spread out the cluttered notes. Not that I play it all that often or anything.
The "cluttered" notes don't really bother me since I'm able to count to eight. What really bothers me is how I can't sync things no matter how hard I try. The freestyle mode in Rock Band 2 is USELESS because of this. So are the fills.
Oh, I got Rock Band 2 today.
Next week's stuff announced early:
Space Truckin' FTW.Quote:
Deep Purple - "Space Truckin'"
James Gang - "Funk #49"
Jethro Tull - "Hymn 43"
Snow Patrol - "Take Back the City"
All songs will be available for 160 MS points on Xbox Live Marketplace, and $1.99 on the PlayStation Network.
The release dates for these songs will be December 30th on Xbox Live Marketplace, and January 8th on the PlayStation Network, due to Sony being on holiday next week.
If it does well, maybe we'll get Child in Time eventually.
Hell yes to that.
No thanks on the snow patrol though.
We spent about 2 hours manually calibrating Rock Band 2 this morning. No matter what the fills are still not synced. The songs are synced perfectly now, like I can play with no audio or play without looking at the screen and it still works, but the fills... and the freestyle mode are still off by about 1/4 second. Its totally gamebreaking. Does anyone else have this problem? Is this just how it is?
Oh, and I was playing Livin' on a Prayer on Expert and had the best time ever. Seriously... the "oh shit" feeling is why this game is so popular.
Yep. Also acting like a wanker.
