Lol. I had the game lent to a friend for about a month for Infinite Undiscovery and only played it at his house a few times since then. Today was the first day I really tried to play since he gave it back.
I like this game a lot. I downloaded lots of songs and I play it at least five days a week. I have the entire Cars album. I am downloading the Rush pack next because I hate myself.
I still have a song or two to beat in Rock Band 1. I'm guessing I'll never get around to it. Run to the Hills can suck a dick.
Run to the Hills was awesome in co-op. My friend and I spent Sunday playing guitar and bass and taking turns singing at the same time (he even bought a mic stand!). We were Tenacious D with fake instruments. Neither one of us could singe RTTH though.
"Moving Pictures" is awesome on drums.
You won't regret it.
All the Iron Maiden covers are kind of hard to sing because the dude they hired to sing them totally butchers the songs.
Haven't tried RTTH on drums since getting RB 2, but I still don't have much desire to play it on my crap-ass RB 1 kit.
Its just not fun. Its harder on hard than it is on expert and that doesn't even make sense.
And dude. Go get a job at 7-11 for a fucking week and get the ion kit. It is so awesome I don't even know what.
I'm up to 615 gamerscore on RB2 now. I don't think I'll ever get the full 1000 though.
It's just hard as shit to play a disco beat that fast for that long when the red pad is positioned at a fucked up angle and has no rebound whatsoever.
I think it'd be a little easier if they had kept the hi-hat part of the disco beats on the yellow pad (which at least has a decent angle to attack) instead of moving it over to the red pad.
Of course, an ION kit solves both problems.
