The second time I ever saw my good friend Steve I called him Stuart because I couldn't remember his fucking name, so he is Stuart to me and I am Stuart to him and his whole family. It's been like 12 years.
When your name is that long, nicknames are a necessity.
The youngin's at my job have recently in the past few months dubbed me "Jewsir" (or Juicer, sounds the same). I don't know why, but I don't mind. I cannot for the life of me get anyone there to call me Pineapple, but they all know it's my nickname. I in turn call the main kid Joe "Jewseph."
They call me Mr. Tibbs.

and for like a week, a few friends called me Parker because they thought I looked like Peter Parker.
Uh...and Hero, but only for a few days in high school. It was in art class and people were put into groups. Ours was goofy, and had things like naming someone "Hero of the Week" for pulling off awesome production duties or "Boss of the Week" for deciding where a project would go.
My name's Aaron, it doesn't exactly lend itself to nicknames. For a while at work people were calling me A-ron, and someone tried to turn that into A-ron Hubbard. Fortunately neither are around any more. We keep trying to call our drummer Popeye but it hasn't taken yet.
PaCrappa calls me Mr. B, which I like because that's what the Little Sisters call Big Daddy in Bioshock ;o
