Buttcheeks clearly doesn't understand the idea of guaranteed basic income, but he's illustrating quite clearly why it won't happen. The disaster of strongarming companies into hiring people they don't need is what's waiting.
The irony here is I remember reading in the 90's where a bunch of people did the math and setting the basic income much higher than minimum wage (something like $700/month) costed like less than half the welfare spending at the time.
