I posted an article months ago about how some famous desegregated schools in the south have resegregated. And of how things are worse than before in that now the worst schools no longer have the benefit of smart minority or poor children to help set the bar.

I wonder if Yoshi would be ok with spending the money necessary to give each of these children what they need? Or will the yoshites of the country instead focus on common core and standardized test while not spending a single dime or giving any of their own time to help these kids?

The way school districts get decided and the crazy areas they include to leave out the poor minorities would be hilarious if it wasn't so shitty.
