As sad as it is, I have a feeling our economic and social ties would be a lot stronger with them if they showed a little more booty and had some vacation spots.
If the Middle East just got their shit together and stopped bowing up a bunch of people along with themselves, I think more people outside that culture would be a little more supportive of them when tragedy strikes them. They have been killing each other for so damn long, that I just really can't be all that shocked or surprised about it.
Thats the thing. How do you get them to get their shit together? They've had it together off and on. How do we or them set it back to on?
People talk about colonialism, and sure, that was a thing that happened. And the white people shit the bed. But does that even matter? If all the white people collectively said, my bad, would it fix anything? If we all worked really hard and sent in money as aid, would it help anything?
Jokes aside, a higher level of prosperity and entertainment would probably fix a lot of this. Its hard to be in a murderous cult when you're too busy making money and living a life. But creating that puts you at odds with the current murderous cult. All of their shit is counter productive to creating those things and getting people out of the current backwards thinking. They just double down and oppress their own people more in the face of what they see as more evil colonialism.
On the cultural tip, it's interesting how much I've learned about the world through food studies. Food is the great equalizer. You can often glean a great deal about prosperity and happiness through another cultures subsistence foods.
And that is a real question. Because the honkies have fucked a lot of shit up. And I can't think if any of it has been fixed by white people admitting they were wrong and giving money.
Then why does the US have a higher murder rate than many of the countries Cap and other, um, like-minded people are telling to get their shit together? Do we not have the streaming services and videogames of Iran and Turkey?Quote:
