I like that idea. Have the Mexican police let him go, but bar his reentry into the States. The problem would solve itself shortly.

The gun charge, which another article says he confessed to the gun and argued to keep it, faces steep penalties (Max 30 years). I imagine Mexican prisoners would fancy some famous 18 yo gringo boipussi.

Man, I hope something comes of that.
BTW, apparently Ethan hit up a strip club in Mexico on mommy's tab: http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/n...-tab/78175600/
I wish the media would use this shaming power to drag mass shooters through the mud.
they probably would if the owners of said companies weren't worried about legislation that would ruin their fox and duck hunting hobbies.
Not to mention public exposure is what massacre shooters are looking for in the first place.
the media is kind of a double edge sword in that regard.
Allmost all of the news outlets love the media buzz of shootings. Some of them even use them to push a political agenda or to present the same views as what they perceive to be their target audience.
But at the same time, by doing either, and giving these people attention, they cause mass shootings.
Just looking at the data, total gun crime and gun death goes down each year. Mass shootings are arguably going up. Why is that? I doubt it is the existence of guns. Kids weren't bringing pistols to school in 1850 and blowing away the whole class.
Murder was up this year.

map of the US showing how far away people currently move away from their mother.
IT is much lower than I suspected. The author doesn't go for the obvious story: comparing this over time. I have a feeling people moved further apart when gas was cheaper. They probably also moved further when there were more and better jobs. Not being able to move away from your childhood support network is very telling in regards to US economic health.
