aaaahahahahahahahaha fuck.
People who refuse to play PC games don't deserve this series anyway, woobwoobwoobwoobwoob.
Wow. Fucking Wow.
Why is it so hard to see that PS3 is perfect for this series? Am I missing something here? Is it so blatantly obvious that Trackmania and Sony's views on shareable content fit together perfectly that a secret edict had to be put out in order to prevent it happening?
Also from the article-

The relevant passage reads, "The coming months will be exciting and full of surprises with the release of highly awaited games such as Blood Bowl, TrackMania DS, Runaway on DS and Wii,

Let me just state what I was feeling when I saw that.Quote:

Then again, you're probably right. If the DS did not exist, they would just come to the conclusion that it wasn't worth putting anywhere else, not instead decide to put it on the X360 and PS3.
I think they could make it work on the Xbox 360. IIRC, Microsoft's issue is not with created content but with content coming in or out of their 'gated community'.
Now whether it's worth it for Nadeo to rewrite all of their community tools to work in a console environment is a whole another debate, and I do agree that the PS3 is a better fit for them (and it would have become a 'same day I buy a PS3' title).
Runaway was a so-so (from what I read) 2D graphic adventure game for the PC.

Yoshi needs to add another series to his sig.
I can't see Trackmania working on a system with such limited capability for downloads. The major draw of the PC games is the combination of great game mechanics combined with oodles of user-created tracks, cars, and skins. That cannot possibly work as well on anything lacking a hard drive or memory stick. Take away all the user stuff and you're left with Gripshift. Only better.
In short: Trackmania would work well on anything BESIDES the DS. A portable Trackmania on PSP would actually be pretty cool, come to think of it. The memory stick would be perfectly fine for storing tracks and other stuff.
Runaway has the worst puzzles I have EVER seen in an adventure game. You make peanut butter at one point by using peanuts and butter. Then you use it to lure fire ants over a shed to destroy it. Then it gets weirder.
