I notice something I figured out by play three: If you want to score high, you've really got to avoid rolling, which is a bit of a trick as not only is rolling exhilarating and badass, you can't help but want to overreact to all this shit happening onscreen, and a little bit of a hasty tug to the opposite side will send you spinning.
1. Contra 4 DS- between the main game and challenges all my portable needs have been meet by this single game.
2. Super Mario Galaxy Wii-
3. Zack and Wiki Wii- Best games on Wii and the novelty two player options kept my wife with me through every play session.
4. Metroid Prime 3 Wii- The first and last 5% of the game sucked, everything else was bliss.
5. Outrun Coast to Coast PS2- Pretty competent on the PS2, best racer I've played in years.
6. Metroid Prime 2 GC- Played it briefly back in 04 then tried again this summer. The bosses are still annoying as hell and repetitive (look a dark version of a standard enemy as mini-boss!!!), still I love exploring these games.
7. Etrian Odyessy DS- Aside from the static battles a nice suprise for portable RPGs.
8. Phantasy Star 2 GBA- Carried a SP around for a few months just for this.
9. Bit Generations: Orbital, Dotstream, Digidrive GBA- good in short bursts.
10. Geometry Wars Galaxies Wii- Most definitely worth 40 bucks.
Nope. I didn't even see one at Club Sega in Akihabara. Osaka, Tokyo, nothing. I've heard people talk about it so I know it's around somewhere, just not wherever I go.
I spent all Ryo's hard-earned box-toting dollars on Space Harrier & Virtual On capsule toys :sweat:Quote:

In no real order
Call of duty 4-The greatest console FPS ever, at least in terms of multiplayer. Which is all I really give a shit about anyway.
Rainbow six vegas-I played this endlessly with a buddy of mine, and I can't wait for 2.
Gears of war-It just never seems to get old, it really doesn't.
F.E.A.R-I'm a sucker for bullet time, even though I know it's about the most over used gimmick ever. And I plan on buying files when it hits the clearence bin (soon).
Street fighter 3 third strike-close to a decade later It's still my favorite fighting game.
Mass effect-This one didn't blow me away at first, but I'm still playing it even after I beat it. So obviously it's doing something right.
I can't think of anything else of merit to mention.
