I dunno, it might be old but it made me laugh.
Thanks, Japan.
Also, I pray to God that I'm the only person who knows where that music is from.
This is horrible not even remotely enjoyable or funny. It's just consecrated (concentrated) stupid. Unless there is some major reference here I'm missing :/.
I'm guessing this is just a refernce I"m missing.
Isn't that music from Mega Man?
There is. It's a parody of absurdly difficult SMB hacks that are popular in some of the weirder Japanese gamer circles. The good ones are actually really clever -- they're bullshit hard but pretty much use every feature (and glitch) in the game to pixel-perfect precision.
Air (somehow it's tangentially related to the anime of the same name, but fuck it):
Asshole Mario 2 (it's SMW, but fuck it):
OP video was awesome, couldnt stop laughin.
Many videos in this thread are sheer concentrated genius.
Agreed. Threads like this one are why I love TNL. I had no idea this stuff existed.
My favorite part is the cloud in the middle that randomly kills him.
Good god, that Cheetah Men game is terrible. What the fuck system was that on?
This stuffs harder than a day old turd.
The Cheetah Man music is pretty catchy, I found some remixes on Youtube:
I remember when that video was posted a while back, and I still find it hilarious.
"This is worse than an episode of Family Guy."
I <3 this thread.
Looks like a Flash animation to me.
"King Koopa never had level designers of this quality"
These videos made me speechless.
Here is a zip file of the original game if you want to enjoy it firsthand.
I thought some of that shit was funny as hell... Like when he went down the pipe and it started to shake and take off, or when he ran over the ground and it just fell out from under that had me rolling.
Everyone needs to watch the vid that MWF posted. It is narrated by Christopher Walken if Christopher Walken played sadistic romhacks and was retarded.
We all watched it when it was posted the first time.
It still entertains, despite being as old as a really old thing.
Yeah, that SMFrustration vid is fairly old. I've been watching it off and on (FUCK YOU BLOOPER) for the past year. Good shit all around, tho.
"YEAH HE'S THE FUC-KING CHEE-TAH-MAN BETTA WATCH OUT HE WILL BEAT-CHA-MAN HE IS THE FUC-KING CHEE-TAH-MAN! (OH YEAH!)"
I have never seen these, and I did lol pretty good at Animegirls vid and the "Christopher Walken" one.
That Asshole Mario 2. Man, what a bitch. And that was just the first level.
Holy crap, the game in the original post is actually playable!.
It's the first link on the creator's homepage. Oh gawd.
The other stages:
But hey, more stage videos.
cheetah-man, doot doot doodoodoodoodoo cheetah-man
Yeah,really funny.
Has everyone seen this one already? i can't stop watching it. 6:00 is my favorite part
Posted elsewhere, but yeah. Whoever made it should have a job working on New Super Mario Bros. 2 IMO.
The Dr. Wily stage theme homage = gold.
jesus christ
Yeah, I've seen that. Good stuff.
Now who wants to make a topic about whether giving hacking materials to the people was for better or worse?
Holy hell that is awesome.
If you read Jeremy Parish reviews, you'd think that Ultimate Ghouls N Ghosts (and all old school games) are like those videos.
I love when he realized he could airjump.
It's like he said, "Hm. Would you look at that?"
Syobon Action huh. Good times.
Here's a 1LC of that by shoe-sama
surprised nobody's dropped I Wanna Be The Guy yet. Here's a playlist of that whole thing.
