Maybe one of his alt-costumes is... could be.... maybe.... SKULLOMANIA!

He's probably going to look great in action. And if he had the Skull T'kachev (sp) move...
and WTF with you guys saying all the names wrong. Sirlin says "Rye-oo" but they also turned down his version of SF4 so there you have it.
So you're saying "Capcom Is Wrong About Many Things".
No, what I'm saying is that I really don't think giving the series to expert arcade players would be a good idea. At all. Did you see those trailers for Bang the Machine? Seriously, NO.
EDIT: nm, someone set me straight elsewhere.
I spent five minutes in photoshop and tried to make him look less poopy.

You turned him into Ecco the Spiderman
I don't get that at all. The animation is great, on par with other 3D fighters. But it has the Street Fighter feel to it.
Like, break down what's so terrible about a specific animation you've seen, and how it would look better if...
Just because its on par with other 3D fighters doesn't make it great. Most 3d fighters seem feel too slow and soft to me. Most of it is ok and alright but nothing I've seen would make me say its great.
I don't have time to convert this to a format that I can frame by frame through it and break it down. That said though most of it feels slow and weightless. A lot of the moves lack a snappyness that should be there in something like a punch or attack. Its given a lot of what I've seen a soft, mushy feeling. Not everything is bad, but nothing about this project fills me with confidence to say ohh I'm sure this or that is going to be great about it though. Animation in games is still not given the time it deserves and most 3d games have animation thats alright, but very few have great animation.
To make it better I would scrap the whole project and restart it over again in 2D.
*edit*
Also just looking at Sagat's tiger fireballs, they look really weak and slow. Like they're taking too long to do and they're not getting enough of the body into it. It feels like they just grabbed the hand controls slide them forward and back and that was it. I feel like that movement should probably start as a push off from the back foot, into the shoulders that come forward and the arms/hands are kind of like shooting off from that really fast and then snap back.
