Tales of Symphonia 2
I could have sworn there was a ToS 2 thread... anyway, on with the video.

I like. That is all.
edit: or... not? How about link?

Good: Character models look great
Bad: I miss the cell shading
LOL: Re-using backgrounds from the first ToS.

Are there Symphonia spoilers of any sort in that vid? I need to start that one still.
-
I don't speak Japanese, but none that I could glean.
-
Thanks. I like the girl's squeaky voice.
-
Considering I fucking loves the first one, I'm down.
-
I don't know. I've only played, like, five minutes of ToS, but I think I like the new look better than the cel shading.

This is awesome to see...makes me wish I would have kept that Tales of Symphonia Gamecube I had :(
Its good to see an RPG series, that I like, make a sequel with the main cast of characters returning. I really don't see that often enough. My only criticism with the first Tales of Symphonia was that it was a LONG game, even by JRPG standards. It took me well over 60 hours to complete the main quest on the first game, and it did start to drag on towards the end, so I'm hoping this one will clock in around the 30-40 hour mark.

Squeaky-voice annoyed the hell out of me, but I'm up for the rest of it. Symphonia was a ton of fun. :D
I still have my completed save from the first on a memory card somewhere. I wonder if it'll support import data...?
