Wow, both the Colts and Cowboys eliminated on the same day? Talk about late Christmas presents. And a hearty LOL @ all the talk of Dallas being better than Green Bay. I hope they make it in so NE can avenge its Super Bowl loss to them.

This argument is dumb. The Cowboys were the best NFC team.

Any given sunday my man. Being better only gives you an edge.

I hate to say this so harshly, but from what I've seen from Romo last season, today and the last four or so games of this regular season, coupled with the fact that Wade Phillips just is not a winner, if Dallas doesn't make some material offseason upgrades, their window with this group has closed. The only things that can keep a window of contention open for a franchise longer than the 2-3 year run - aside from an astute and efficient front office - are a legitimate franchise quarterback and/or a transcendant head coach. Dallas, much like many also-rans, has neither. A QB can have a string of outstanding seasons, like Kurt Warner had, but only a franchise QB can keep that window open for the duration of their career. And I hope all this "things are different under Wade than under Bill" talk finally dies down. Putting Wade Phillips in the same sentence as Bill Parcells is like putting a silk hat on a pig.

Green Bay obliterates the Giants, NE beats San Diego, and we'll be set up to see The Borg vs. Clint Eastwood in the Super Bowl.
