I've had it up to here with the caliber of quality in the fucking stock d-pad and I'm not really looking to shovel a bunch of money into some custom stick that I'll only use for a handful of games. Alternatively, how well does the "sandpaper trick" work? I'd be willing to maim this piece of shit controller to make the dpad work properly...

Really liking my EX2. Like the Tekken 5 anniversary stick, it's probably as good as you can get for its price range.

If you want to play anything else through WMC download the Transcode 360 extender.

Not sure. Don't use it would be my suggestion, as I play all kinds of shit just fine through whatever the server connection I have up is (not home so I can't check). OGG, AVI, MPG, all that good stuff.

Yeah, there's really no reason to use WMC since the dashboard update that now supports most codecs. I haven't touched it since and I'm happy about it.

I don't use WMC or have my 360 networked in any fashion. I play back all my files from a 500gb external usb-drive. It plays most common format that way, all except .mpg.
