Not enough new stuff, but Ninja Gaiden 2 and Gears 2 news is pretty good. I'm a little concerned that Gears 2 is coming out so soon after Gears 1 though.
2 years isn't that soon.
I think a 3-year wait is the sweet spot. I'm sure we're going to see a lot of improvements over 1 (like a better goddamn multiplayer lobby)--I only hope that the November deadline gives Epic enough time to really polish the game into perfection. 4-player co-op would be fantastic.Quote:

3 years is a sweet spot when you need to develop an engine in tandem with a game. 2 years is plenty of time when you have a fully developed (and powerful) engine behind your game. Coupled with the fact that it is Epic's engine, meaning that they are the experts on how to use it.
Microsoft has its trinity of games to help fight the Revenge of the PS3. I only wish they had more stuff to announce--the conference seemed a little lackluster.
Gears 2, NG2 and (non-exclusive) R6V2 will keep me very busy this year.
