Cool article on the last games on various systems:

I think the 360 and PS3 will be viable for a long time, it wouldn't surprise me to see FIFA or whatever being released 5 years from now on those.
SSJN collects those IIRC, though I doubt he goes for the last European releases.
I know I'm not getting rid of my p3 or 360 for awhile. Some great games still coming out.
Nope, american only.
But its a collection that has sucked since Tony Hawk 3 on N64. I am fairly certain every system since then has had a sports game as its last release.
Iirc, madden 08 on cube, madden 09 xbox, and winning eleven 2013 ps2.
Have there been any other single games released on three different generations of hardware or will fifa 14 be the first?
I suspect it will be the first. The PS2 was a really, really special circumstance. I wouldn't expect to happen again any time soon, if ever.
It depends on the criteria. There are games like Double Dragon on three generations but the Genesis release came years after the 8-bit ones. And how similar do the ports need to be? Klax was on 2600-NES/SMS-Genesis/TG16 in a similar time frame but it wasn't the same publisher for every release.
Id say klax works, double dragon does not.
Ms. Pac-Man.
It came back as a fucking cart in the 16-bit era for no good reason.
It sold fairly well in the 16-bit era so I think it was smart to re-release it. With the expanded options and pac-booster, I quite like those versions.
