I didn't like Gears 3, they made it too easy. The fact that your squad AI can revive you means you can just derp your way through the hard parts.

Current and upcoming Black Friday digital sales via Major Nelson.

I grabbed Fallout 3 digital and all the DLC for about $14 or so altogether.

Not much there for me but I did grab Wolfenstein 3D and I'll probably get Onechanbara on Friday.

Gears 1?

Special edition of Marl of the Ninja obtained. Is Red Dead Redemption worth playing?

RDR was one of the better games of this generation. Atmosphere is amazing, and the story is also quite good. There are some stretches where it gets a bit tedious IMO, but yeah, well worth playing.

Dont try to shoot in close quarters.

RDR is amazing. It's a must play.
