Gamestop is giving out an extra $20 today (and hopefully tomorrow) for Xbox 360s. For any of you out there like me with an old ass 20GB that doesn't sell for shit on eBay, $100 is a pretty decent deal. $199 Elite tomorrow, I hope. :D

Do you mean creating a playlist for a specific game? If so, yes. Simply create a playlist on your computer and then you can select that on the 360. It has the ability to read playlists directly.

I'm down to <3GB on my original "20 GB" HDD, and that's after cleaning shit up a bit. I would just buy the 120GB if it wasn't only $90 more to get a brand new 360 after trade-in.

I have nearly 80 Arcade games, a few demos, & about 50 downloaded TV episodes on my 120gig hard drive with about 65gigs left... I think that's a lot of stuff I've put on it.

The added storage is also sweet for ripping your most played games. I got Skate 2, BO: Paradise (which also has about 2 gigs of added content since release) and most recently, Batman (load times are quite a bit better, I'd recommend it esp. for the challenge rooms).

I have 64gigs or so left.

I got a Pro system three years ago and it came with a cable that had both composite and component outputs on it. If I were you I'd call MS and tell them that there's been a mistake, because you bought their HD console and it's not HD.

The composite cable doesn't effect me at all because I've already got a component, and will be ordering a nice HDMI cable from Bluejeanscable.com, but it just struck me as kind of cheap and stupid. The people who'll be using the system for SD will probably be looking for coax, after all, if my daily experiences answering phones at the cable company are any indication. SD = coax, HD = component/HDMI in the average consumer's mind.

Blue Jeans Cable is a great site, I'll probably be getting my 6' HDMI for about $10-ish. Trust me, no $100 Monster Cable HDMI for me. Comparable quality at 1/10th the price is perfectly fine.

So I was thinking of buying a Pro system soon, for the HDMI and because I get the feeling this one will die soon. I've already got a 120gb drive so I wont be transferring data, I just need to be able to put my current drive on the new system and of course "authorize" it so I can access everything while offline.

What steps am I going to need to perform? I assume its simply a matter of deauthorizing my current machine in some way, then attaching the HDD to the new machine and authorizing it?

If you don't need a HDD, save the $100 and get the Arcade. They're all the same hardware minus the storage.

Just put your hard drive on and I think they have the license transfer tool on xbox.com. Not sure if you still have to re-download shit for the last step.

I can confirm that after using the License Transfer Tool on Xbox.com you do have to redownload everything again with the new system (I just went through a solid week of redownloading all of my crap because of this). Have fun! :-P

Good times. I ended up storing our XBL profiles and our Rock Band characters onto a 64(?) meg memory card and formating the drive before redownloading everything again. Sucks, but what'cha gonna do?
