Wow, someone has a real bias against country folk. Bacon just said that a lot of those areas are heavily Republican, that's all.

He lives in Georgia, he probably has a pretty good feel for that. You'll see areas like Atlanta, maybe Savannah and Brunswick skew blue, and everywhere else it's red red red.

That's not saying they're uneducated hicks in all those places. I actually like Georgia, and I visit there a lot. But I get what he's saying.

So i was biking back to work today and these fuckers were holding this big Obama banner on my precious sidewalk space. I wanted to tell them i'm voting Bob Barr just for that!

I'd be shocked if this happens, but at least one poll shows it pretty much tied up there, so you never know.

Ohio will go McCain as there is big time flack against the dems for basically being filthy douchebags all around the Cleveland area and getting caught. This + the major news nailing Obama on spending millions for TV ads and not distributing this money to the homeless have turned the state against him.

Ohio goes Red, PA and Michigan Blue. But neither state has enough uumph to surpass Ohio.

I dunno. I live in one of the more metropolitan areas but I've seen pretty much fuck all in public displays of affection for Obama. Although I also haven't seen nearly the evidence of McCain support as I did for W, either. I guess that apathy could be seen as evidence of a tighter race.

Ohio and Florida almost don't even matter any more. Unless McCain can win both of them, IN, MO, AND turn around VA, CO, and NV, he can't win. It's going to be very very hard.

He'll get VA as there are too many "sophisticated racists" down there, Colorado goes blue, and NV goes red.

If gas remains below $2.00 on election day, I'm calling a McCain win, book it.
