If she did then I'd buy into the argument that she's stupid. Being a governor is better preparation for the presidency, plus she'd be considered illegitimate if she appointed herself senator.

You know, this woman wasn't calling the kid stupid or bad or anything, she was just challenging her. Critical thinking and argument are the most valuable skills you can learn in school, and clearly none of these kids had any.

Believe me, if that was me at that age, I'd have some shit to say in that class.

I can't imagine that community service nonsense passing, the government can't mandate compassion.

Well, compared to the students that said they supported Obama, she was pretty condescending towards the kids that chose McCain. Not exactly fitting into the role of a "more tolerant America," for sure.

Oh yeah, I know. I'm not saying she's a great teacher or that her restraint isn't slipping a bit, but to see this video on youtube as "Racist teacher attacks white girl" is fucking stupid. Teachers are allowed to challenge their students' ideas. I don't genuinely believe she was trying to indoctrinate them as much as start a dialog, but her kids are fucking dumb.
