Well he is giving the people that support them what he wants, thats more than most rescent presidents have done.

I can't wait to put my $600-poor-person check in the bank.
But you're supposed to SPEND IT!
He also pushed Congress to extend his tax cuts, which are to expire in 2010, and said allowing them to lapse would mean higher tax bills for 116 million American taxpayers. For those who say they're willing to pay more, Mr. Bush said, “I welcome their enthusiasm, and I am pleased to report that the IRS accepts both checks and money orders.”
Ok I hate to admit it but that line was funny.
Yeah. Same with $600.Quote:

All I remember from last night's State of the Union Address was how fucking huge Nancy Pelosi's tits were - good God, I never knew she was packing that much heat. The wonders of modern medicine....
I think she just doesn't wear a bra under her blazer.
Congrats to President McCain. Vice President Giulani's done now and should be giving his endorsement of McCain shortly.
Giuliani's speech sure felt like a concession, but he never actually said it. :wtf:
When in the Hell are they going to release The State on DVD?
They put out a trailer for it not too long ago, I thought? Or was that for iTunes or something?
Pics pls.
No.
I...had it coming. +1 rep
S&B that shit asshole. You can't tell whether or not the ones on the left and second from the right have bottoms on or not, which is probably enough to count as naked in some places.
I don't see any bologna?
Those bitches were hawt.
LOL @ Last edited by sleeve : 01-29-2008 at 11:29 PM. Reason: nearly naked fatties removed.
The State is due on DVD this year actually.
Hold the phone, why didn't anyone tell me that McCain had a hot family?

Supposedly MTV pulled the plug for no apparent reason.

I am ultra mega sad panda now. :(
FUCK MTV
Edwards is out according to the TV news.
Congrats, liberals. Your candidate is going to be Hillary Clinton. I can't wait to hear someone's spin on why anyone should vote for her.

If it comes down to McCain v Clinton I expect to see a lot more red states than usual.
So, guess I'm voting for McCain by default. Sucks!
Could be worse, anyway. He's just a sell out, whereas Hillary is a Gorgon.
FUCK! I'm betting some Viacom execs had a square dance and whoever ended up running MTV didn't like the show. :\
WTF! Obama's not out yet. Florida is South New York. And with no campaigning, of course Hill's going to win.
Also my riding Obama is not nearly as long a shot as Spo riding Guili. That tranny has been in a free fall since before Iowa. Obama's still running close and technically 15 delegates above the Amazon!
O BA MA!
O BA MA!
O BA MA!

ok I’m done.
McCain v. Obama: Either Way A President Will Die In Office. Coming January 2009.
I see Hilary losing pretty badly. Not Walter Mondale badly, or even Mike Dukakis badly. But Bob Dole badly.
Jesus Christ, I AIN'T VOTIN HIM HIS NAME IS LIKE OSAMA!
Well, she HAS done a lot in her time in office.
j/k
Seriously though I'd say this actually has the opposite effect. The anti-Hillary vote will now coalesce behind Obama.
Say what you want about MoveOn, this ad is dynamite. The homosexual subtext is about as subtle as a jackhammer;
If McCain wins and stays true to his Iraq policy, he'll be out in four years. He'll most likely have a Democratic Congress too, so it's no biggie.
The straight talk express derailed a long time ago, and he's no longer the "maverick" he tried to pass himself off as in 2000.
I really didn't see Hilary doing good in FL, but I guess I was totally wrong. Every Democrat that i've talked to in my local area say that they hate hillary and I thought that would show in the polls. But she won with a large margin, which is suprising to say the least.
Although my county was one of the few that Obama won decisively, I really hope Obama's campaign picks up in other big states, especially california.
The economy sucks right now, Congress has changed hands, and said Republican has to deal with the quagmire Bush is leaving in Iraq. It's a totally different landscape from 2000.
9/11!
Actually there are plenty of black people in florida, they just don't vote. I actually live on the Florabama line so it might as well be Alabama.
I guess I saw Obama winning because most people in my area hate Hilary, and that showed in my local polls, and I made an unjust decision about Obama because I thought race wasn't an issue with people. But it shows that all the old people make up most of the vote all secretly are scared of having a black president.
Secretly?
Get ready for the national election, where every human with functioning testes needs to keep a woman out of office.
Florida's not the south. It's like a separate country.
If Hillary wins the democratic nomination, I'm staying home on election night. 4x Bush Sr. -> 8x Mr. Clinton -> 8x Bush Jr. -> 4x Mrs. Clinton would be more like a two-family monarchy than a representative democracy.

Michigan lost all 156 of its Democratic delegates for allocating delegates outside of the Democratic National Committee-approved timeframe.
Does anyone see a legal fight brewing if Obama wins the nomination by a margin compensated by those lost delegates?Quote:
Florida lost all of its 210 Democratic delegates for allocating delegates outside of the Democratic National Committee-approved timeframe
I lived most of my life in Florida. Parts of it are 100% the South, mostly towards the north/center of the state.
The rest of it is New York/Beach/Mars/Cuba.
I think its more all the damn liberals in South Slorida that made Hilary win. I live in Nothern Florida with alot more conservatives, where Obama won, but Nothern Florida is not near as populated as South Florida. Older rich people like Hilary, and that who mostly lives in South Florida. If you look at Florida counties that won, all the counties with younger working age voters that voted democrat, voted Obama, but the counties with were mostly full of older people voted primarily Hilary.
Capital fucking letters, dude.
Thank you.
So do you guys think it's a lock for a Clinton vs. McCain fight this November?
He was a silver spoon Catholic Democrat who was solely elected based on nice makeup in televised debates and dead people in Chicago.
No, NASA is actually a positive for him in my eyes. There are very few better uses of money than NASA. So many products have come from advancements the space program made.
Yoshi hates him becuase he didn't nuke Cuba.
I didn't even think of the Bay of Pigs, but it certainly goes in the opposite column to NASA.
No Russia started it, Yoshi hates an unfinished fight.
 We beat the Russians the best way possible.
No, it was because people saw what a disgusting troll Nixon was for the first time and not only that, Nixon's performance in the debates can only be described as abysmal, if not downright comical.
By doing nothing and taking credit? Agreed.
But Look Yoshi! Dear Bush took a page right out of Bay of Pigs!
WMDs! Oh Noes!Quote:

Paul/Kucinnich 08.
His reelection was entirely by Middle America scared by the New Left. Of course, then they ended up with a bag of shit when Nixon's shenanigans finally caught up with him and he left office as a disgrace and a joke.
It was calculated to make Boeing, Northrop, and GE a shitload of money. That's about the extent of it. Even Eisenhower knew that the arms industry was less about standing up to Soviet aggression and more about lining pockets of robberbarons and their paid-for Congressmen.
Florida goes raw-dog on those capitalizations, man.
[QUOTE=g0zen;1064036482]We get a "new left" about every four years, but it all looks like the same old shit to me.
Even if this were 100% fact, which I am not conceding, it's still a better investment for the country than any social program, since Boeing, Northrop, and GE actually create jobs, unlike the government or burdens on society.Quote:

[quote=Yoshi;1064036498]Yoshi if your going to protect big business, take into account all the corruption big businesses. Look at those CEO's of the big banks that get canned and get millions of dollars. When a normal american gets canned from there job they get a kick in the ass. This sends a mixed message to people of lower income that actually work hard.
Creating jobs only helps if they make things that make our lives better. Having a bunch of people build useless nukes lowers our standard of living.
WTF are you talking about? Our country is free enough that people who are conscientous objecters to a product can choose to not fucking work for the company that produces it. Otherwise, those who do work for the company producing said product do so voluntarily, and they do so voluntarily because said company pays their fucking bills. And if it doesn't, they can voluntarily go somewhere else to work. STFU.
And specifically regarding nukes, if you're so worried about the environment and want to stop using coal to fuel our lives outside of our cars, you need to stand up and be an activist in favor of nuclear energy so bullshit companies like Enron never have to prop up Socialist States like California ever again.
The economy sucks partly because Bush raised government spending while cutting taxes (which McCain opposed). Congress has indeed changed hands, and is now incapable of getting anything done (which is why it's got an even lower approval rating than Bush or Cheney). As for Iraq, McCain was telling us that Rumsfeld was fucking up the mission in Iraq as early as November 2003 (before most Democrats even had the balls to speak out against the war). Things have been much improved lately in Iraq because Bush finally canned Rumsfeld and implemented the surge that McCain argued for since 2003.
The problem is that liberals can't see past the war in Iraq, and assume that since McCain supports us being there he's "sold-out" to Bush. In reality he's been a far more accurate and articulate critic of the Bush Administration than any Democrat. He also hasn't abandoned the best interests of his country in his hatred of Bush (which can't be said for the left).
Edit: Edwards just dropped out. He hasn't endorsed anyone yet (I'm sure he's going to wait until there's a clear frontrunner in the hopes of getting the VP nod).
