I remember James mentioning this in a Wii thread last year, IGN has a hands-on, looking decent so far:

I don't think I've heard of this before. It looks pretty cool though. It has a kind of Jet Set visual style and a pretty trippy soundtrack. I'll have to keep an eye on it.
I'd almost forgotten about this game, so it's good to see it still coming along. I just hope the gameplay lives up to the style and concept.

This is based on a freeware game. An educational one, at that. If you live in Utrecht. Try it out for yourself. I found it to be fairly fun - it has a lot of stuff to do if you're into collecting random doodads.
I just watched some of the videos, it looks pretty fun. IGN has another article on it that isn't too old:

I hope it stays on schedule for September, I'm going to keep watching it.
Decided on this over Warioland.
Pretty good so far. Somewhat like a cute JSRF; stylish graphics, a freeform jazzy soundtrack that your play influences, and gameplay cut into chunks. Hopefully it stays fresh beyond the first hour.
I picked up Wario Land today instead but I'll grab this next week hopefully.
I can't decide whether I love de Blob or hate it. On the one hand it would be fantastic on 360/PS3 with a standard controller and a few tweaks to the way de Blob moves. On the other, the controls kind of suck in its current form. de Blob sticks to walls too easily and refuses to let go, the downward flick of the remote needed to jump is unresponsive, and I can never seem to manage much precision with the jumps due to the near-uncontrollable camera. Which doesn't explain how I just spent 90 minutes exploring one level and painting almost everything in it.

Yeah the levels are insanely huge, 1 hour apiece at least. I agree that too much is being mapped to Wii waggle but for once style over substance isn't horrible. It's the platform version of REZ....with the kidz graphics. Played about 5 hours now and still ready to go back.
