Interestingly enough, I had one of my cokehead clients trying to sing the other week. She's a very talented singer that just happens to visit the bathroom every 10 minutes when she's tracking. In any case, one day she came in looking quite disheveled, even more so than usual. We got to tracking vocals and she was trying to hit this long high note that ended a chorus. She was on pitch every time, but I kept hearing what sounded like feedback in the recording. I checked everything, and it was in her fucking voice. I could only deduce that she was having some sort of wheeze or other throat related issue due to the large amount of coke she was using that day that was creating this really high pitched overtone in her voice. It was fucking strange.

Cocaine is a hell of a drug.

I'm debating something if I can find some time. The local CBS-run (alternative) talk station has been toying with it all day. You would be amazed how well DLR goes with constant stupid fart noises.

I was considering doing a remix as well, but only debated because of time. Oh hell, I guess I can put off learning After Effects for a bit to do this.

I have plans for it too. But I'll never get around to it.

ok, it's the same shit. I heard this a year or so ago... it sounds odd alone but works well with the recording.

I believe the below video is confirmed BS (supposedly this was the actual feed from her mic into the board while the audience heard the polished vocal track) anyway, whatever software used to create this (if it's bs) is amazing. To throw her so completely off without it sounding like digital ass... I want it (anyone have any ideas what they may have used to do this?)
