Also, Rayman 2 and Beyond Good & Evil are masterpieces.

Also includes hope for LBA3. Hot shit.
WD sucked ass, and Vic Ireland was an asshole. Just because they brought over some good games doesn't forgive them for fucking them up.
Nintendo (Legend of Zelda, Ocarina)
Square (Secret of Mana)
Konami (Contra 3)
Blizzard (Warcraft 3)
Sega (Phantasy Star Online)
I really wanted to put Sammy up there, everyone knows how much I love guilty gear. But it just didn't have the testicles required to enter that hallowed random list.
MS rarely needs to advertise as it has something like 90% of the market. Having a system out =/ people switching to Vista either.
I remember a few years ago, the Video game sector of Sony was the only thing profitable in the company.
Food for thought, or lack thereof.
You didn't buy saves like that. After a fight you'd gain regular and magic experience. To save you'd have to spend magic experience, thus making it take longer to be able to upgrade/learn new spells.
I guess they did that to cut down on people crawl-saving, but you know what? I just paid $60 for your fucking game. I believe I should be able to play it any way I want without stupid penalties.
"TNL's favourite publishers..." are all being swallowed up by bigger companies, or merging to form atrocities. It's scaring me.
The amount of Magic EXP that was expended in saving was relatively insignificant. While I agree that WD plunged their hands into the game's code a little deeper than a publisher should, dishing out a few MExp for saving wasn't nearly as inhibitive as Resident Evil's ink ribbons, Breath of Fire 5's tokens, or any of the other bullshit that Capcom has forced on us over the years.
I agree. Let's burn down Capcom!
