Was the carpet tripping thing necessary? Seemed really out of place to me. A "quick! get him out of the show!" loop hole. Everything else was brilliant though.
It was funny and I think it was there for that and a weird way to get him out.
It struck me as very Coen Brothers-ish. There wasn't a compelling need to get him out of the show, if anything it raises more questions.
I think that's the point.
There's probably some kind of built in trouble with the IRS over that shit coming down the pipe.
Ted went from kind of likable but stupid to just being a jerk, probably to facilitate the whole thing.
I kind of don't get why Bill Burr would still mail the check after that happened. What's the point, even?
That's what I was thinking. If anything, that could cause a lot of problems if the coroners can get an accurate time of death and the cops find out that check was mailed at around the same time. It's a reach, but if they really wanted to, they could make this a big deal.
