I'd like to see the show use flashback with Walt, round out his character a bit. Show us the choices (or lack of choices) he made when he was younger.

That's pointless right now. Why should we care what he did in the past? We already got a lot of background information on him and frankly that's all we need. I just think his current "I don't give a flying fuck" attitude is attributed to him knowing these guys are criminals anyway and if he had to weigh their lives against his family's lives he's not going to care about getting his hands dirty.
I want this relationship between Walter and Jesse resolved. They don't even have to meet up anymore. They're done. So why are they going to see each other again? For the sake of the show I feel Walter will still look for something to do with Meth but he doesn't need to. He already owns a business and has made a nice life for himself.
I imagine the investigation will bring them together again.
Investigation of what? No one there knows their names, they've burned the lab down to shit with chemicals that probably burn hotter than even the steel in the lab can withstand, and Gus never video taped his surveillance. The only wildcard is Mike and I can't picture him doing shit.
They'll look into everything that Gus left behind. I'm sure there's something in that Pollos Hermanos office, his home or one of the many people he has hired, etc etc.
I mean there's no obvious link right now but things like Gale's notebook could easily trace back with the right evidence.

Did Walt know Jesse was abducted or did he just show up at the lab to destroy it and coincidentally find and save Jesse there. Seemed pretty convenient
Season 5 will start with Walt's cancer in full relapse, (which the have been hiniting at with him coughing a lot) And Mike showing up at the Car Wash with a "Business proposal" on behalf of his new employers.
Jesse will be dragged back into it...likely due to a relapse and him smoking all his cash away.
