Here's an equation for those Physics geeks out there - how fast were they going?Quote:

5 down, a couple billion to go.
I wonder what kind of Beemer their parents bought them to kill themselves in
edit - video from the crash scene http://link.brightcove.com/services/...tid=1392485027
It looks like a plane crash site.
Jesus. Tell 'em Large Marge sent ya.
Why, tonight's the anniversary.
What CD was playing?
i'm gonna guess it's a 335i.
r.i.p 335i :(
It "left the ground?" It was on an airstrip. Hmm.....Quote:
The vehicle was speeding in excess of 100 mph when it left the ground and traveled 200 feet into a large tree, Local 6 has learned. The vehicle hit the tree about 15 feet above the ground.
Defective DeLorean, imo. I smell cover up!
YA THINK?!? They have their own fucking airstrip and it was five assholes in a 2008 Beamer.Quote:

What was your first clue?
The article says that they flew off an 80ft embankment and hit the tree 15ft above the ground, so they fell 65ft = 20m. You can figure out the time they were in free fall from this: t = sqroot(40/9.8) = 2s. They covered a distance of 200ft = 61m in this time period, so they were going v = 61/2 = 31 m/s. Converting to miles an hour gives 70 m/h, so the article lies somewhere (or i made a mistake).Quote:

They probably estimated all the distances. The damage on that car looks more like 100+ MPH, although I suppose gravity would have given it a bit of a speed boost before it hit the tree.
Consider that they attempted to slow down (I believe that the video said that there were skid marks). The wheels look like they are off of the M5. This happened about 30 miles away from me.
Edit: I was right. Here's a thread he created on an M5 board the day before he crashed.
Retards.
i wish my parents bought me an m5 (heck,i wouldn't mind an m3) when I was 19 :(
we can't all be born into superiority.
...ouch.Quote:
M5froth I completley understand where you are coming from assuming that I am irresponsible..that is definetly understandable. I do sometimes make bad decisions but I am young and I do drive safe and I will not endanger the lives of others..and I hope you are not under the impression that I am the one to brag, I have never been that way and never will. Plus I will have pictures up asap with me in the pictures. I have no reason to lie buddy.

What a waste.
Of an M5.
Darwinism works.
Even if I was filthy rich my kid wouldn't have a sports car.
Because kids are fucking dumb.
mob justice imo.
I love it when stupid people get what they deserve.
