I don't know if there's any kind of netcode that could handle MvC2... but I'd play it. Really, if Capcom got the rights back, who says they'd even want to make another game when MvC2 would be a license to print money in any form? I still can't believe the prices people pay for used copies.
Seriously. The EB my buddy works at had some guy come in and sell MVC2 for xbox. He got MAYBE 10 bucks for it. They put a 54$ sticker on it.Quote:

People, people---calm yourselves. This isn't a question of "we have to convince Capcom this is a good idea!" Capcom <3s our Marvel games. A new title would be cool. A rerelease of an old title would be cool. We all agree. It's now just a question of making the business plans all line up, which can sometimes be a lot more complicated than anyone just excited about an awesome game usually wants to think about.
Of course we'll let you know if we have anything to announce, but even if something like this were to happen, it would take time. This is very fresh news, so let's give it a while to shake out and keep our fingers crossed for more of that zany Marvel vs Capcom goodness.

The Capcom Boards have a habit of going batshit insane.
The amount of hate that peppered that board when MH3 was announced for Wii was staggering.

Udon is doing SSF2T:HDR right? A bunch of 2D artists who probably aren't charging too much, considering they draw Capcom comics all day (comics don't pay much) and likely had a collective peepee sneeze when they were offered SF2HD (hell, they were really excited about Capcom Fighting Evolution). I don't see it costing too much if they hire them. Capcom could practically name their own price.Quote:
