Do they make shoes that have tips that compliment the shape of the human foot?
They are square, round, or pointed. How many of you have feet that point in the middle.

I have some of those. I wear them wherever. Fuck everything.
Those shoes assume a certain kind of foot anatomy. Rude.
I ended up paying more than I had initially intended for a pair of those recently. And let me tell you: Worth. Every. Penny. First of all, they feel like sex on your feet. Second, I can RUN again! Now my knees and ankles don't hate me anymore and I can, like, jog outside instead of being stuck on the elliptical in the gym. There was definitely an adjustment period when I first got them where I had to toughen my feet up a scoch and retrain myself to forefoot strike, but now they feel completely natural to me and running toe-heel has become second nature.
Anyway, I won't wear them in lieu of a regular pair of shoes as I'm not as bold as icarusfall, but I highly recommend Vibrams for anyone with joint issues who likes to run. And, yeah, unfortunately they don't seem to be made for all foot types.
I can apparently get free orthopaedic shoes through my health plan.
Anyone have experience with that?
Do you need them?
Not really, but free shoes are free.
That's not true with those type of shoes. They are for medical reasons. I don't suggest you wear them if they are unnecessary.
Well, I do drag my right foot sometimes.
It got caught under the rear wheel of a car while I was getting in the back seat, and it twisted the shit out of my ankle.
That was twenty years ago, but I've had occasional problems with it ever since.
I don't know if shoes would help with that, and I've never really given it much thought because my ankle only gives out once or twice a year.
EDIT: fucking typos today
