See I was told by my tailor to always go 2 button because i am tall and lanky.

He told my friend who was 5'6 to go 3 button because he was short and stocky, said it made him look more long at the torso.

3 buttons NEVER go out of style in business. If you're going to go call on don johnson and want to impress with a sportcoat/jeans look, I agree 3 button SC's look terrible.

My suit has two buttons. The dude tried to sell me on a three button jacket when I picked it out. I said, and I quote, "no faggot shit."

I got this 2 button from the Suit Warehouse or whatever it's called in Mayfield Ohio for 400 bucks, my best suit.


Also, NEVER pay for alterations Thief, they'll do them free every time. Also, if you decide to get a 3 button suit, make sure you NEVER button the bottom button.

Men's warehouse does alterations free for life. So it's good.

They do free alterations on any previously altered seam.

Not digging the 3-button these days. Would love to go with a slimmed-down 1-button but they're impossible to find on an non-Biff budget (haven't found one less than $1k).

You can find one button suits at Macy's (Perry Ellis (ugh) and Kenneth Cole (not bad) are around 350-500 dollars.

Yay, a clothing thread. I'll admit I am a bit of a clothing whore, I just love buying new stuff. The sites I shop at the most are 80spurple, urban outfitters, karmaloop and anthropologie. I have about 25 pairs of jeans/pants, at least 60 different shirts (dressy & tees) and well over 50 pairs of shoes. My main style is jeans, "witty" tee shirt, and Chucks or asics. I do love to dress up pretty though and wear dresses and girly clothes from time to time. My current favorite Tee maker is Tank Theory, they have bad ass prints, chicks with guns etc. I usually buy guys shirts because they almost always have the cooler designs. I also hit up Threadless from time to time. I have lost some weight over here and plan to lose about 15 more pounds so I will have to do a wardrobe cleasing when I get back.
