Peter Hirschberg - my arcade

Peter Hirschberg has just finished his stunning retro-gaming heaven, a Valhalla for the best arcade video games ever. His Luna City Arcade has 57 fully-restored arcade classics which span from Asteroids to Zaxxon, plus a whole load of pinballs. Amazingly enough, he does all this on his own dime, for the love of it. It's open to the public now, and the best thing: entrance and quarters are completely free.

This is totally awesome and amazing and I love it. Places like this are still so vivid in my memory and it bums me out that arcades are dead.

Pretty cool to see all the old arcade cabinets. Would have been nice if he has some of the newer games from Sega like Outrun, Daytona, etc.

kind of similar since they often smelled the same but i unfortunately had to go into my old Gamestop Saturday. it smelled like nerd BO in there. i loved arcades and all but they usually smelled as well.

love the containment grid sign as well.

Free entry and free plays? If a bunch of teenagers with too much free time on their hands find out about this place, those things are going to get destroyed.
