K, was it Young's chocolate? I've had it before; it was pretty good.

The Bier Garden in Portsmouth is fucking awesome. The beer selection is amazing and my friends and I have gotten in good with the bartenders so we get beers shaved off of the bill left and right.
Fosters is like shit and piss mixed in a bucket. Stay away.
Also, no Australians drink it at all, most bars don't even have it down here. Its all an advertising ploy.
That's what I figured. I bought some Coopers Dark Ale instead. How's that? Didn't have much of an Oz selection. Haven't drank it. Stuck to the Jack tonight and waxed it on pretty thick.
Isn't Victoria Bitter the quintessential Australian beer? I haven't seen it in town yet.
Sierra Nevada holiday ale is out already. I wanted it but they were charging $7.99, which is too much for Sierra Nevada imo.
Would love to hear what TNL recommends for what the brew-dustry calls winter brews.
