I appreciate all the words, I've settled down emotionally and even wrote a eulogy, which I'm pretty sure his mother won't let me read because it involves throwing candy into the audience at the end. I've stabilized pretty well, but I'm going home tonight and going to his house/memorial service (I guess he was cremated?) tomorrow.
Oh, and I have a cold now.
I'm gonna eat Tacos and watch an episode of Cosmos.

Oh, I also quote Pootie Tang.
-
You are prepared to stay in Virginia for awhile right?
Major snowstorm starting in a few minutes there.
-
Heh, Southside Hampton Roads. We don't tend to get snow. I will bet anything the snow/rain line is right at Norfolk
*check*
Yep!
Cold rain!
-
So.... which Pootie Tang quote is it?
-
See, my damie, Pootie Tang don't wa-da-tah to the shama cow... 'cause thats a cama cama leepa-chaiii, dig?
Both my friend and his father adore that movie. It makes more sense in the context of what I wrote.
-
How you could possibly put that into context with anything is beyond me.
-
... It would probably make about 7 people laugh and everyone else would look at me in befuddlement.
Then I would throw a bunch of candy at them.

I could only hope that someone creates an awkward situation at my funeral. It would bea fitting reflection of my life.
